Job Description
NorthStar Financial Group is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its accounting team in Vancouver.
This position provides an opportunity to build practical accounting experience while assisting with reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable, and routine financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Maintain organized accounting records.
- Assist senior accountants during month-end procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
