Job Description
RONA+ is seeking a dedicated Part Time Head Cashier to join our Richmond Hill store. In this role, you will lead the front‑line cash operations, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional customer service. As a Head Cashier, you will help our teams bring customers’ projects to life while contributing to the community we serve.
The ideal candidate is passionate about retail, enjoys interacting with customers, and can manage a busy checkout environment with efficiency and a friendly attitude.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash register operations and ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Supervise and train cashier staff, providing guidance on best practices.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor cash handling procedures to prevent discrepancies and ensure security.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment on the sales floor.
- Prepare end‑of‑day cash reports and reconcile registers.
- Support opening and closing duties, including store readiness and security checks.
- Promote store promotions and product knowledge to customers.
Requirements
